GEMM
Every shock, drop, and vibration, when it happened, how far it fell, and which corner hit.

A closer look at the GEMM
Video description
GEMM: a 15-second film with music and no speech. White-background views show the recorder, a close-up of the control knob and direction marker, and the front label. The film closes with “Make the journey part of the record” and impactregister.com.
The GEMM packs multi-axis recording into a compact monitor sized for crated equipment and smaller high-value freight. Its wax-coated, time-stamped chart captures the full story of a shipment, including the detail that settles arguments: a drop's timing, height, and point of impact. When a receiving dock says "it arrived that way," the GEMM chart says exactly when "that way" happened.
| Axes recorded | Multi-axis: time, direction, and magnitude of all shocks and vibration |
|---|---|
| Drop detection | Records drops, when they occurred, from how far, and on which corner |
| Chart | Wax-coated, time-stamped chart |
| Chart speeds | 14, 30, 60, and 90 days |
| Power | No battery is needed for G-force sensing. A battery powers the motor that advances the chart. |
